The Cowboys’ offense was sputtering Sunday against the Chiefs without Amari Cooper and with a struggling Ezekiel Elliott.
Dallas was then dealt another blow when wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was ruled out with a concussion. The official announcement came in the third quarter.
Lamb’s head hit the turf right before halftime, which led to him being evaluated for a concussion.
When the Cowboys came out to start the second half, Lamb was listed as questionable before being downgraded to out. Dallas trailed 16-3 at halftime.
Prior to leaving the game, Lamb had three catches for 14 yards. So far this season, the 2020 first-round draft pick has 740 yards and six touchdowns through nine games.
